Big Business controls a lot of health practices. Consider how often you see an independent optometrist these days – can they compete on price with the multinational chains?</li>

Understanding your business and how you are currently positioned in your market.<br /></strong>In order to create a site that truly meets your requirements; you first need to have a full comprehension of your business including your products, and/or services and more importantly their market position. You then have to consider how you want to explain your business and what it offers in 7 seconds or less. Sounds impossible? Well that is the average time that a user will consider the point “is this site I searched for?”.</p>
<p><strong>2. Budget and estimation<br /></strong>Have a budget in mind and don’t be afraid to let the developers know what it is. In saying this: BE REALISTIC, $500 will never see a great web site created, nor will they be anything left in the bank to market it.</p>
<p><strong>3. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The most typical question asked when acquiring a new projector for the home, office, or classroom is: will I buy an LCD projector or a DLP projector? LCD, an acronym for ‘liquid crystal device’ and DLP, standing for ‘digital light processing’ are the two most common projector imaging technologies. With so many business brands and different models available, it can be overwhelming for consumers to make a decision between both technologies. The fact is that LCD projectors have superior image quality and colour accuracy. The following article will tell you why DLP projectors struggle with reproducing the same rate of image quality.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s like a set of blinds in your house for your bedroom window. By pulling a rod you can turn the shutters open or closed, according to whether you want to let light in or not. This is exactly how an LCD projector functions. Each pixel operates like an individual shutter on a set of blinds to either shine light through or to block it. DLP on the other hand is created of millions of microscopic mirrors or ‘pixel elements’ as the pros like to call them. Each pixel element functions to either reflect light or block it.</p>
<p>How the light source is processed from the point when the projector is turned on to when the picture reaches your screen is ultimately important in regard to image quality, brightness and colour accuracy. LCD projectors direct white light from the lamp by separating it into red, blue and green components, by three mirrors which send the coloured light to 3 separate LCD panels. The 3 LCD panels form the elements of the image by switching each pixel on and off. The pixels are then projected in a glass prism to create the projector image. A significant point to know about LCD projectors is that all three colours are delivered onto your screen at the same time. The way a DLP projector runs is vastly different and even the way an image shows up is not the same. With DLP, white light from the lamp is processed through a spinning colour wheel with transparent red, blue and green segments, at speeds up to 11,000 rpm/s. This approach to projecting an image requires a sequence of red, blue and green light. The millions of micro mirrors described above reflect the coloured light on the pixels to create the image elements. The elements of the image are displayed in sequence on the screen, one colour at a time. The viewer&#8217;s eyes will then draw each coloured element of the image into a whole image. In LCD projectors, all colours are available all the time to form the best brightness and superb colour accuracy. In DLP, only one colour is available at a time, and so causing lower colour brightness and accuracy. Some DLP designers have placed a white segment for the colour wheel to improve all over brightness, but this goes and degrades colour accuracy.</p>
<p>I find in forums all the time that DLP has a higher contrast ratio and ergo must be superior. For those who don&#8217;t know, the contrast ratio is a measure of a display system defined as the ratio of the luminance of the brightest white to that of the darkest black that the technology is able to produce. DLP projectors do provide high contrast specifications in comparison to most LCD projectors. At a glance, this appears to be a plus, however, in truth, the true black level is determined by the ambient light in the room where the projector is in use. Do not be tricked by contrast specifications on websites and in brochures.</p>
<p>When the content you are trying to see requires moving images, DLP projection technology can also have image marks, or ‘artifacts’. The most common artifact that a DLP projector shows with moving images is colour break up. Colour break up is inherent in DLP systems because moving images keep changing between the time red, blue and green colours are shone. LCD projectors do not have this characteristic because every colour is projected with the others. DLP designers have come up with 3DLP solutions using 3 chips to resolve the colour break up artifacts, but the expense of these projectors make them impractical for many businesses and consumers.</p>
<p>Another differentiation between LCD and DLP is how they match the balance for the refractive qualities of light. Think back to high school science, and recall when they taught you how the various colours of light refract different amounts when directed through the same lens. The problem with DLP projectors is that they utilise the one same panel and the same lens to project Red, Blue and Green. All 3 colours are different and refract light differently. Often with a DLP projector, a superfluous yellow colour will appear above and an extra blue will appear below an image as simple as a single black line. In manufacturing LCD projectors can be adapted to remove these effects on the projected image, because each colour is directed on a separate LCD panels.</p>
<p>The isolated true benefit (excluding price) with buying a DLP projector is its overall smaller size and weight. However, this is only relevant for mobility and needs to be traded off against the image advantages of LCD projectors. If overall picture quality is crucial to you, then the solution is simple. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As the Dutch rose to preeminence in sea power during the 17th century, the early yacht had been a leisure craft used first by royalty and secondly by the burghers on the canals as well as the protected and unprotected waters of the Low Countries. Racing was incidental, arising as private games. English yachting started with King Charles II of England during his exile in the Low Countries. On his return to the English throne in 1660, the city of Amsterdam presented him with a 20-metre (66-foot) pleasure boat with a beam (maximum width) of 5.6 m (18 feet), which he named Mary. Charles and his brother James, the duke of York (James II, ruled 1685–88), built other yachts and in 1662 raced two of them from the Thames, from Greenwich, to Gravesend, and returning, on a Â£100 punt. Yachting became fashionable for the wealthy and royalty, but after that time the fashion did not last.</p>
<p>The first yacht group in the British Isles, the Water Club, was started in about 1720 at Cork, Ire., as a cruising and unofficial coast guard group, and held large naval panoply and gravity. The closest thing to a race was the “chase,” in which the “fleet” pursued a fictional enemy. The club went on, for the large part as a social club, until 1765, and in 1828, after conglomerating with other clubs, it became the Cork Yacht Club (later the Royal Cork Yacht Club).</p>
<p>Yacht racing was seen in some stipulated fashion on the Thames around the mid-18th century. The duke of Cumberland funded the Cumberland Fleet for Thames racing in 1775. When George IV rose to monarchy in 1820, it came to be known as the Fleet to His Majesty&#8217;s Coronation Sailing Society. The Thames Yacht Club seceded with a racing argument, to become the Royal Thames Yacht Club in 1830. The first English yacht society had been initiated at Cowes on the Isle of Wight in 1815, and royal funding made the Solent &#8211; the strait between the mainland and the Isle of Wight &#8211; the continuing site of British yachting. The association at Cowes became the Royal Yachting Club, likewise at the ascension of George IV. All members were required to own boats of at least 20 tons (20,321 kg). Sailing matches for large bets were held, and the club life was splendid. It came to be that the Royal Yachting Club boats grew in size to bigger than 350 tons.</p>
<p>In North America, yachting started with the Dutch in New York in the 17th century and went on when the English held power. Sailing was for the most part for fun and rose to its apogee in George Crowinshield&#8217;s Cleopatra&#8217;s Barge (1815), which sailed on the Mediterranean Sea and created a standard of luxury and sophistication for the later yachts in that area from the late 19th century. The first enduring American yacht organisation, the Detroit Boat Club, was started in 1839. In 1844, John C. Stevens founded the New York Yacht Club aboard his schooner Gimcrack.</p>
<p><strong>Kinds of sailboats<br /></strong>The Early sailing yachts took the lines of such naval craft as brigantines, schooners, and cutters from the 17th century through to the later half of the 19th century. The craft of sizeable yachts was originally greatly impacted by the victory of America, which was drawn by George Steers for a group started by John C. Stevens, and it was the boat for which the America&#8217;s Cup (q.v.) was named after its success at Cowes in 1851. Early yachts were not designed and manufactured in today&#8217;s sense, with only a model used. Not until the later half of the 19th century did what was known as naval architecture come into action. Not until the 1920s did the use of the research of aerodynamics do for the structure of sails and rigging what such science had done earlier for hulls.</p>
<p>Because almost all sailboats had been individually manufactured, there came a desire for handicapping boats as this was before the one-design class boats were made. Therefore, a rating rule was decreed, which ended up in the International Rule, adopted in 1906 and edited in 1919. In the present day, one of the rapidly growing areas in sailing is that of one-design class boats. All boats in a one-design class are created to the same requirements in length, beam, sail area, and other areas (for an example of a two-person sailboat, see illustration). Racing between such boats can be done on an even basis with no handicapping required. A perfect example is the uniform International America&#8217;s Cup Class taken on for yachts in the 1992 America&#8217;s Cup race.</p>
<p>So long as yachting was done primarily for the aristocracy and the wealthy, expense was no issue, and the size of boats developed, in both length and weight. The ascendancy and popularity of smaller yachts occurred in the later half of the 19th century out of the sailing of the Englishmen R.T. McMullen, a stockbroker, and E.F. Knight, a barrister and journalist. A trip around the world (1895–98) captained single-handedly by the naturalized American captain Joshua Slocum in the 11.3-metre Spray demonstrated the seaworthiness of small craft. Later in the 20th century, for the larger part after World War II, smaller racing and pleasure boats became more popular, down to the dinghy, a preferred training boat, of 3.7 m. In the late 20th century, craft of less than 3 m were setting sail single-handedly across the Atlantic Ocean.</p>
<p><strong>Kinds of power yachts<br /></strong>After the decade 1840–50, during which steam was set to replace sail power in market boats, the steam engine, and later the internal-combustion engine, were used increasingly in personal craft. Bigger power yachts were developed to a high standard, and long-distance travel was a favoured pastime of the wealthy. The earliest power yachts were paddle-wheel boats; those then gave rise to those powered by the completely submerged screw or propeller type of propulsion. Like naval and merchant yachts, auxiliaries possessing both sail and power were the yacht archetype for several years. By the second half of the 20th century, several yachts were still auxiliaries, but the larger part were only power yachts containing gasoline or diesel engines.</p>
<p>During the last decade of the 19th century there was a push in the design of large steam yachts. In particular of these was the Mayflower (1897) of 2,690 tons, with triple-expansion engines, twin screws, and a compartmented iron hull, and was manned by a crew of at least 150. The Mayflower, bought by the United States Navy in 1898, was the official yacht of the president of the United States until 1929 and was used in active service in World War II.</p>
<p>As bigger and more reliable internal-combustion engines were created, many large boats were using them for power. The establishment of the diesel engine, employing heavy oil for fuel, advanced for World War I. During the decade following that, big power-yacht creation blossomed, hitting a climax in the Orion (1930) at 3,097 tons. In that point the largest auxiliary yacht built was the four-masted, steel, barque-rigged Sea Cloud (1931) of 2,323 tons.</p>

A proportional tax is a tax that impinges the same relative burden on all the taxpayers—i.e., where tax liability and income move in equal scale. A progressive tax is recognisable by a more than proportional increase in the tax liability in regard to the rise in income, and a regressive tax is recognisable by a less than proportional increase in the comparable liability. Ergo, progressive taxes are thought of as reducing the lack of equality in income distribution, whereas regressive taxes might cause an increase in these inequalities.</p>
<p>The taxes that are generally regarded as progressive include individual income taxes and estate taxes. Income taxes that are initially progressive, however, might become less so within the upper-income group—especially if a taxpayer is able to lower his tax base by nominating deductions or by taking some income elements from his taxable income. Proportional tax rates when applied to lower-income groups would also be more progressive if such personal exemptions are declared.</p>
<p>Income measured over a given year does not necessarily give the best measure of taxpaying ability. For example, transitory growth in income might be saved, and in temporary declines in income a taxpayer might decide to finance consumption by decreasing savings. So, if taxation is compared along with “permanent income,” it can be less regressive (or more progressive) than when it is held in comparison with annual income.</p>
<p>Sales taxes and excises (save those on luxuries) are usually regressive, because the dissemination of personal income consumed or spent for specific goods lowers as the level of personal income is raised. Poll taxes (also termed head taxes), levied as a standard amount per capita, clearly are regressive.</p>
<p>It is difficult to determine corporate income taxes and taxes on business as progressive, regressive, or proportionate, because of the lack of certainty about the ability of businesses to shift their tax expenses (see below Shifting and incidence). This difficulty of determining who bears the tax burden depends essentially on whether a national or a subnational (that is, provincial or state) tax is being debated.</p>
<p>In analysing the economic purpose of taxation, it is necessary to distinguish between several ideas of tax rates.
